Trend of remote work

I believe that the trend of remote work will have a direct impact on Bali's development in the next five to ten years.

Just think, according to the last survey, 1 of the 4 U.S. residents will work remotely in 2021 which is 82 million people. If we extrapolate this number to similar countries, we will get 382 million people from only the Western world (which is 1/5 of the world's population), who will work remotely in the nearest future. And these calculations are not including developed Asian countries.
Together with the common globalization processes these will create an unprecedented ground for a new qualitative wave of migration, which will be caused by a desire to live in a more life-friendly place, close to nature with warm climate and good ecology. For the first time of the history the reasons are not wars or global cataclysms.

🌴 What does Bali have to do with it?

The global most desired direction(according to many ratings) continues to attract foreign guests to its territory. The central authorities finance important infrastructure projects on the island and locals are extremely friendly to foreigners.

After Covid stabilization and opening borders, Bali has all chances to start a real estate boom. First of all, this is not a tourist real estate, but residential one, which will be used by future tenants and buyers as a platform for work, life and rest on the tropical island.
