New details about future visas for foreigners in Indonesia became known
The Ministers for Tourism and Human Rights of Indonesia announced new details of future visas for foreigners. Authorities were considering issuing special visas for digital nomads (IT remote workers). The minister said there are 4.8 million people consider themselves to this group. A good market already!
Thus, foreigners will be able not only to live and work remotely in Bali, but also pay income tax here. Indonesia has signed a double tax agreement with the majority of civilized countries. A 10% tax here would be beneficial for the US and European residents, where it reaches obscenely sum.

In my opinion, all of this is a very good step. 2020 showed what tourism in Bali might look like with richer audience. Since October, all my car rentals have said that they no longer have cars. In comparison, there were a lot of available bikes.
